Cy Lindberg Employee Spotlight

Tell us about yourself.

I like to have my hands in just a little bit of everything. From climbing, skiing, backpacking, and fly flishing, I try to find the time to do everything.  When I'm not enjoying outdoor hobbies, you can find me tucked into the corner of your local cafe/coffee shop reading and writing, or at home spending time behind my Vice tying flies for the upcoming season.

What is your role at Liberty Mountain?

I am the Mountain West Sales Rep, covering the territory of MT, ID, WY, UT, AZ, NM. I help assist and execute all purchase orders that are placed at Liberty within my territory. Some may say I'm the greatest shipping merchant the company has ever seen.

How long have you been working at Liberty Mountain?

I began working at Liberty in early March of 2023. I spent the first month training until the reigns were let loose and I took over as a full time Rep in April.

What is a typical day in the life like for you at Liberty Mountain?

There's a lot of small tasks that consist in my day to day. I help enter in and process customers' purchase orders, aid in navigating shipping, and lending a hand in returns. I am always looking towards the future, getting ready for upcoming trade shows and events. The best part of my day to day is planning shop visits throughout my territory where I get hands on experience inside outdoor specialty shops. Hosting clinics for staff is the part I look forward to most.

Are there any hobbies or activites you'd like to try someday?

One thing I have wanted to get into in recent years is some form of a glass blowing class. I find working with glass to be a very interesting subject that has many avenues to explore, create, and learn from.

We are lucky to have Cy on our team here at Liberty! He is always cheerful and an extremely hard worker. He is willing to help where ever he can and happy to jump in when it is needed. He is wonderful with his dealers and enjoys chatting and getting to know them on a personal level. He occasionally has his conversations on the move, walking up and down the sales floor. Cy is a hoot of a time and we are grateful to have his joyful presence in our office.
