OUR TECHNOLOGY
To build the perfect performing sock, Lorpen uses the best textile technology and the best fibers on the market. Lorpen is the only sock produced in the world that uses T3 technology; combining 3 layers of yarn allows for peak performance from each type and provides athletes with maximum benefits.
T3 technology is made of:
- A hydrophobic yarn in contact with the skin to wick away sweat and keep skin dry.
- A hydrophilic yarn on the exterior to absorb the sweat wicked away from the skin and spread it out so it dries faster.
- A tough outer yarn (usually nylon) to protect the areas of the foot exposed to friction based on the kind and level of activity.

OUR SUSTAINABILITY
Lorpen follows in Ternua's footsteps by creating technical socks with recycled materials and fibers. Lorpen uses a mix of natural, hybrid, synthetic, and ECO fibers. Using feedback from professional athletes, we have been able to execute the most advanced sock with the lowest environmental impact.
Fibers consist of:
-Natural Fibers are fibers with fragments, threads, or down originating in nature that can be spun into yarn or string.
-Hybrid Fibers are a mixture of natural fibers and synthetic fibers that they make from recycled materials.
-Synthetic plus ECO Fibers are not natural fibers. Lorpen is committed to reducing its ecological footprint by using recycled materials such as plastic bottles, fishing nets, and more.
